Have you ever wanted to shoot your Gras rifle but didn't want to spend over $30 per shot? With our sub caliber insert you can do just that. Simply insert a 410 bore shotgun shell into the insert and chamber it into your rifle like a standard cartridge. This will accept 2-3/4" and 3" shells; testing has shown no keyholing with slugs. Machined from 1018 for a long service life and laser marked for clear identification.

Very neat!

Just got one of these beautiful, well-preserved French relics and have been on an accessory hunt for her. I chambered the insert by itself as there wasn't anything to test the extractor or ejector with. Extraction and ejection worked perfectly as expected. It's a very good option considering there are plenty of these rifles around, probably more of them in existence than original Gras ammo.

Please with purchase

Purchased one of these for my Fusil Gras I purchased from RTI. Shipping was prompt and my insert fit with no issues. At the range this functioned as expected and was hilarious to shoot. Out of my calvary carbine it patters 18" at ten yards. I will try shooting some skeet with it next. I'm very pleased with my purchasing experience and in the function of this insert, I can now affordably shoot my Gras and would recommend this for anyone who has purchased one.

Milsurp fan

I just got my second order and now have 4 of these adapters. They're great. I have a beater Gras from RTI that's basically a smoothbore at this point, and these adapters let me shoot clays at close distances (I could probably take it out further, but clays were never something I was good at). It's a bunch of fun and way cheaper and easier than sourcing 11mm Gras brass. I have 20 cases of 11mm Gras that I load up and use in my nicer example of a gras, but I shoot my beater way more becase of these adapters. No black powder cleaning, no time spent at the reloading bench... And there's a giggle factor when you hit your first clay with it
