This service is for converting and rechambering a standard .303 Bren Mk2 barrel into a .30-06 Bren Mk2 barrel for the Italian kits. Conversion work brings .303 barrel to original Breda contour and gas block journal length with use of interference fit sleeves made from your torch cut Breda Mk2 barrel. Barrels are headspaced to standard .110" chamber face measurement; if your kit has already been built the chamber may need to be reamed slightly deeper depending on the accuracy of the reweld dimensions. New gas port is drilled to original Breda size which has shown to work well. Original .303 barrel markings will be turned off with your kit's serial number and new caliber marking in it's place. Barrels are left in the white for finish matching with your kit.

The following items will need to be sent in for the work to be done:

Good .303 Bren Mk2 barrel with strong rifling. If your kit has already been built, verify that your barrel will lock with the nut in your kit. Barrel does not have to be stripped, but damaged components will be discarded after disassembly.
Torch cut barrel. Minimum 1" behind gas block cannot be cut; if this area is cut I cannot use it. Please see photos for reference.

Carry handle and hardware is not needed, please do not send it.

When sending in items, please ensure everything is packaged well and nothing will fall out with rough handling.

Jonathan did a fantastic job on two of these barrels for us! Hard to tell anything was done at all. Now we can finally build out our kit. Nice work and all was better than promised.
