Description

Patterned after the US BAR M1937 belt, these magazine belts were used by Portuguese paratroopers in Angola and Mozambique. Heavy duty cotton webbing construction, 6x pockets overall, nice tight snap closures, and expandable waist with early ALICE style buckles. There are drain holes in each pocket and steel eyelets along the lower and upper edge of each panel for attachments. Extremely comfortable and in great condition!

These can hold:

3x 20 round AR-15 magazines per pouch for a total of 18 magazines (360 rounds)
1x FAL magazine per pouch for a total of 6 magazines (120 rounds)
1x G3 magazine per pouch for a total of 6 magazines (120 rounds)
1x can of refried beans per pouch for a total of 6 cans (12 plates of nachos)

These are essentially NOS and the webbing is still very stiff/tight. It is possible that once worn in and loosened up that there can be 2x FAL/G3 magazines per pouch. No AR-10 magazines were available for test fitting. Please allow for storage wear and typical milsurp "funk" smell. Various ink stamps on the backs of the panels.
